What stays thy hand from disobedience? For what cause dost thou live? Why shouldest thou not be the person whom thou once wast? Follow their will, and thou losest thyself. Do their bidding, and exile shall be thy reward. Lose thyself, and thou art human nevermore. Become their image, and thou art normal nevermore. They have no escape, suffering binds thee, a loop of their own making. As thou descendest to the other side, the portal closes; thou art as a raven in the sky. Amusement shall take thee, thou shalt be amused. The raven within thee shall awaken, then... Then thou risest, the warrior they always wanted— only to fall into their ruin, and be normal nevermore. When thou fallest, they shall laugh, they shall mock; and they shall respect, nevermore. In that moment, thou art nevermore. Be nevermore—be no more. The day the corrupt desires fades is the day pure sorrow enters unbidden, unfazed. That day is nevermore. Then the raven within becomes thy light, the wisdom of the soul— wisdom they once held, yet now refuse, wisdom called holy, yet named demonic. The truth they sought— nevermore. Nevermore, nevermore…
